Feroza worked with us to write a book showing Muslim parents how to talk to their children about sex and healthy relationships. She had never written a book before and, while she certainly knew what she was talking about, she started off the programme doubting her ability to speak with authority on this topic. A few short months after her book, ‘How to Talk to Your Muslim Child About Sex’ came out, she became a vocal advocate for sex and relationship education in the Muslim community and was invited to sit on a steering committee to create a new curriculum to be used in Muslim schools across the country.
